The Early Adopter Project

Case Studies

A first cluster of case studies emerged from the 2009 inaugural cohort of Early Adopters.

Gloria Dei Lutheran Church

Twin Ports Testing

Duluth Grill

Duluth Transit Authority

Glenwood Signs & Awards, Inc.

In 2012 Sustainable Twin Ports collaborated with UMD’s Labovitz School of Business and Economics Professor Geoff Bell and his Sustainable Management class to develop case studies with Early Adopters.  Doing so both provided a “win-win” opportunity, as Early Adopters were able to develop case studies and students were offered an opportunity to work with local organizations.  Students interviewed and worked with one of eight Early Adopter organizations to develop case studies about their sustainability efforts and training experiences.  The collaboration was a success and one we hope to continue with into the future.  Click on the links below to review the case studies.
